I visited Manila, Philippines in July 2024 and stayed at the City Garden Hotel in Makati. The breakfast at the hotel was very good and only 520 PHP.

The traffic in this area is very heavy and it could take up to 30 minutes for your taxi to arrive. On one taxi ride from the hotel to Rizal Park it took 52 minutes to travel 8.13 km. I used the Grab App for taxis.
